Happy New Year and Welcome 2017!

“Grateful to be a Californian”

Happy New Year from Malibu!  We have been blessed with rain this year and (so I have heard) “all planets are moving forward”.  During the holiday season I spent a lot of time in-between  rain showers walking on the beach.  Nothing better than winter in paradise   with its fabulous low tides.

Malibu Country Mart is hosting one of the new year’s first events as the new venue for “Fire Ball Tim’s Wheels and Waves”.

I have attended this event several times at its old venue and the most amazing vintage and classic cars are displayed at these events. This meet up of vintage and exotic car owners is an on going event which will appear the third Sunday of every month at the Malibu Country Mart through June of 2017.  Admission is free and photo taking is welcome.

What is more Californian than Malibu and cars??? Throw in a bit of coffee (and maybe some comedians in cars) and you have a perfect way to start your Sunday!

7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

COST: Free and open to the public

WHERE: Malibu Country Mart
3835 Cross Creek Rd.
Malibu, CA 90265
** Next to Starbucks and Malibu Kitchen

Image 7-25-16 at 10.17 AM

“Stand Up at the Play House “will soon celebrate its one year anniversary.  I have been a big fan since the inception of this “comedy club” at the ocean. Host and comedian Michael Schirtzer is presenting another great show this Saturday July 30th. The show begins at 8:30 but best to arrive by 8:00 if you are buying tickets or would like to mingle and enjoy some wine and goodies before the show. Tickets are $15.00 on line with small service fee, or $20.00 at the theater.
